Project Research

Russ Graymer is primarily responsible for the publication of digital geologic map databases for the San Francisco Bay region. He conducts geologic field investigations with a team of other USGS scientists, emeritus scientists, and volunteers. He compiles the resulting data into digital databases using ARC/INFO, and produces digital geologic maps from the databases. He also uses the geologic map data to conduct research on active earthquake faults and on landslides.
