	Education B.S. - Geology - California Institute of Technology - 1985 Ph.D. - Geology - U.C. Berkeley - 1992 Project Research Russ Graymer is primarily responsible for the publication of digital geologic map databases for the San Francisco Bay region. He conducts geologic field investigations with a team of other USGS scientists, emeritus scientists, and volunteers. He compiles the resulting data into digital databases using ARC/INFO, and produces digital geologic maps from the databases.
