Northern California Transect

The Lake Almanor map encompasses the juncture of the Sierra Nevada, the Cascade Range, and the Basin and Range provinces and includes Lassen Volcanic National Park and extensive areas of forest lands under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Forest Service. It is anticipated that forest geologists and managers in the Plumas National Forest and Lassen Volcanic National Park and in the Bureau of Land Management will have strong interest in this new digital database.
